Reflecting on 2024

2024 was a challenging year.

It brought many opportunities for character growth.

• I could've shown up more on social media
• I could've written more frequently for my blog
• I could've contributed more to open source

But I had to prioritize.

What mattered most

My family, my health, and my job came first.

Losing most of my dev team meant stepping up in ways I hadn’t expected.

It was tough but I made it through it 🙏

Side projects

This year, I’ve also poured my energy into two passion projects.

The first is Parchaser. It’s a networking app for golfers. It’s all about connecting people who love the game.

The second is Raw Milk App. It helps farmers and consumers coordinate raw milk pickups in states with restrictive sales laws.

Both projects are set to launch in 2025.

I’m keeping my focus on my full-time job, so it might take time for these to grow. But I’m okay with that. Good things take time!
